The Dress

This spectacular beaded dress with illusion neckline and V-back is from the Rosa Clara Soft collection 2015 and was made for my wedding in August 2016. I fell in love with this dress the first time I tried it on. After being convinced I wanted something very plain and simple, I found that this dress gave me that overall look and feel that I wanted of timeless simplicity and very classic but with amazing detail. It also felt so comfortable all day but made me feel like the special bride on our amazing day.

Natural White/Ivory. The dress has a silk underlay slip and a hand-beaded tulle overlay with gorgeous lace detail. Sweetheart neckline with soft tulle beaded bodice and high scoop neckline. Deep V-back with sheer tulle over shoulder straps. Satin waistband is part of the dress and accentuates waistline. Full-length A-line skirt with train and bustle.

I had a few minor alterations to the length and the fit of the top - am a standard UK 10, bust size 32C and am 173cm/5'7"

On the day I wore with heels and I also had some small hooks added so that I could create a bustle for the evening and for dancing.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and there are no stains but on closer inspection you will notice that there are a few tears in the overlay tulle around the bottom to the side and back.
