The Dress

This modern, hand-embelished wedding gown was great to wear and super comfortable. It has a contrasting, beaded top section (white background) to the skirt, which is made up of ivory sequins. The design makes the gown suitable for different venues and a range of styling possibilities.

The train adds elegance, but on the dance floor can buttoned up or carried (see alterations).

The gown is stretchy, so it should suit a range of body shapes. It's a good one if you have broad shoulders like me, where shoe string straps don't work.

Purchased at Rachel Gilbert in Armadale and dry cleaned (as they recommended) by Syndals Armadale- the dress is in great condition.

The label is size 2, but size 1 is more accurate. I had it altered at Angela's Alterations in Malvern (recommended by Rachel Gilbert store) as I lost a dress size leading up to the wedding. They also attached a ribbon handle to carry the train, and buttons to pin it up.
