The Dress
Detailed illusion bodice features boatneck and elbow-length sleeves with Venice lace. Lightweight chiffon fabric. Sweep train. Fully lined. Imported polyester. Zipper back and button. After the wedding, the dress was cleaned and preserved in a kit which included cleaning and stain removal, an anti-yellowing treatment, steam finishing, acid-free tissue wrapping, and a preservation box with a window. The veil and hairpiece are included in the preservation box. Corset and slip also included.
Side seams were taken in, and the bodice was shortened. The skirt was hemmed. A bustle was added (eight points attached). Two snaps were added on the inside of the bust in order to attach to the corset.
