The Dress

This Sassi Holford design is the dress of dreams. After trying on dozens of gowns and starting to worry I wouldn’t find one, I fell in love with it the minute I put it on. I got ‘the feeling’ and just knew I had to have it. If I could've found a cheaper version online at the time I definitely would have bought it as it's so well made, and the quality is clear within seconds of seeing it, that I knew a second hand version would still be absolutely stunning to wear.
It's with a heavy heart that I list this, but I know I have plenty of photos to remember my dress by and I would love another bride to feel the pleasure of wearing this lovely gown. I had so many compliments and felt so special on the day that it would be nice to know someone else could have this joy too. Lots of people commented on how timeless it looked and for me it was the perfect mix between feeling sexy yet not flaunting too much on such a special family occasion. It also meant a lot to me that it was made by a beautiful British designer, which matched the elegant edge I wanted for my wedding.
The retail price is £2,850 however I paid a couple of hundred extra for the insert to cover my shoulders. I'd like to keep this part as it was made specially to fit me and will help me to remember my dress. You could easily wear it strapless (it’s very well structured - no bra needed - and I'm really picky about that!) or you could buy your own top if you'd like to, and Sassi Holford do a longer sleeved version too if you're having an autumn or winter wedding. It’s attached by poppers so can be taken off for dancing in the evening if you'd like.
I haven’t had my dress dry cleaned yet but have factored the cost of this into the price. If you’d like to make me an offer, bearing this in mind, then I’m open to suggestions. It’s in very good nick however, as I wore it less than 12 hours, thankfully didn’t have any accidental food spillages and the weather was dry and mild so no mud or sweat to worry about really.
