The Dress

This dress was absolutely perfect for my rustic country wedding. It brought the old-world elegance and romance I was hoping to create, as well as a hint of sexiness.

The neckline is modestly plunging, showing just enough décolletage to be sexy without being over the top. The plunging back with the soft lace V shape gave an extra wow factor when I turned around. I could not have been happier with this dress.

The lace is ivory and the underlining is called 'beige', but is really more of a mushroom pink colour. The bodice is form fitting (you won't need a bra once it's fitted to you) and the skirt hugs all the way down to the upper thigh. There is a train (shown in the pictures) that can be bustled.

It was ordered from the US and purchased from Marry Me Bridal in Mosman, NSW in late 2016 and worn on 6 May 2017. It has since been dry-cleaned and packaged in a bridal chest, ready for its next wearer.

It is in perfect condition, with no stains or damage at all. Would be a good fit for anyone who is between AU size 6-8 (bigger bust, smaller waist). The length of the dress was altered, but I am 163cm tall, and wore this with 2.5 inch heels.

Marry Me Bridal in Mosman did all of the alterations. They took in the waist (as I was a 6 in the waist, but needed the 8 for bust and arms). They took some of the length off the bottom of the dress so that you could see the peep-toe of my shoes when I walked but it was not too short at the front. As indicated in the description, I am 163cm tall, and wore this with 2.5 inch heels.
