Bespoke Karen Willis Holmes- 'Pippa'. Size 12, made in 2016 as per pattern. Extra cm of organza added to neckline.
This is a classical, elegant style. Delicate layers of ivory organza wrapped around a corset-fitted bodice that flares out. Internal boning with a built in bra and a sweetheart neckline. Silk organza draped bodice and the skirt is made of layers of petals in organza & tulle. Fully lined -100% polyester satin lining. Paired with a classic, simple belt and lace up back creates a flattering figure but also flexibility with sizing. Includes a train that can be bustled up for dancing. I am 160 cm tall and the dress is floor length.
Worn once for my wedding (approximately 8 hours). Dry-cleaned by professionals and stored appropriately.
The dress was beautiful on, providing a casual elegance. It was very comfortable for the whole day with no issues.
