This authentic Monique Lhuillier Scarlet wedding gown is classic, romantic, elegant and timeless.

This beautiful dress is made from two separate garments, a delicate layer of white French Alencon lace cascading over a white silk slip underlay. Showcasing a stunning mermaid silhouette with modest Queen An neckline, cap sleeves and vintage pearl button detail down the back. This dress is best known for its striking signature plunging key-hole back.

I purchased this dress new as a US Size 6 (A/U Size 8) and had it taken in slightly under the arms at the bottom of the back. It is perfect for a slender or curvy figure size 6/8 as the material of the slip allows for some stretch.

I am a 5'5 bride and I wore 4 inch Sophia Webster Heels, however someone slightly taller could wear this well.

Worn only once, this gown has been cleaned using a professional dry cleaning service recommended by Helen Rodrigues the bridal boutique where the dress was purchased and has been stored professionally since. There are no tears, stains or damage and it is in its original condition.

I felt amazing wearing this dress on the day and it was perfect in every way. It was comfortable, easy to dance, move and sit in and bustles up with a silk hand loop which was extremely comfortable and easy to use.
