The Dress

Only 2 hours into my first wedding dress shopping day and I fell in love with this dress straight away. I never looked back once I purchased it. I purchased the dress in July 2016 - Allure Romance at Dressense Bridal in Miranda. I wore it in March 2017 and on my return from my honeymoon in March 17, I had it professionally dry cleaned also at Miranda that was recommended by the bridal store.

The colour is an amazing mix of champagne/ivory and silver. The fabric is a textured lace bodice and smooth taffetta mermaid skirt. It was so easy and comfortable to move around in all day and dance in later in the evening once I had secured the trail.

Prior to the wedding it was altered slightly around the bust and tapered in to blend to my waist. The hem was raised slightly as well. My current measurements are; Bust - 33cm, Waist - 26cm, Hip - 37 to 38cm, Height - 162cm. My shoes on the day were 8cm in heel.

I'm usually a size 6 to 8 so it may vary depending on your body shape.
