The Dress

This is a surprisingly comfortable dress. My wedding was in the morning so I was in it for a good 12 hours and it wasn't tight or scratchy or heavy. Wasn't even that hot, despite a summer wedding. I had an outdoor wedding and the fabric didn't even get stained around the bottom which had to be some kinda of wizardry because I went prancing through long grass. So yeah, a fabulous dress, it looked as great at the end of the night as it did when I put it on.

It has only been worn once and has been professionally dry cleaned so it's in as-new condition. Size 10, but fit me as a size 12 and has a corset back so could easily go up or down another size (plus you can let it out a little bit after you've eaten a bunch of wedding cake, because who doesn't like cake?). It has been hemmed to fit me at 5'2"/161cm tall. The bodice fit me as a 12D cup size. I wore it with a hoop, which I do recommend because the hoop makes it easy to pee (just stuff the dress into the hoop and pull it up, easy peasy, no awkward moments with bridesmaids required). It has a flattering A line figure with just the right amount of floofiness in the skirt. The bodice is satin with a little bit of elegant bling in the form of silver beading and the skirt has organza over satin. It has a basque/dropped waist that did a pretty good job at hiding the fact I didn't really diet before my wedding. Totally pretty. You should buy it.
