The Dress
Embroidered Tulle overlays satin in this mermaid gown with sweetheart neckline. Beautiful beading throughout the length of the dress, including the skirt, buttons adorn the back of the dress. The dress was worn at a February 2017 wedding and remains in perfect condition!
Several alterations were made to this unique dress, including:
- size: from 14 to 10
- bottom: shortened for my height (5'4), beading added along the end of the skirt
- internal bra cup added
- internal corset added for support
- removed halter and altered to sweetheart neckline
- a cloth-covered button and loop was added to attach the train to the back of the dress for more freedom of movement, when desired.
