The Dress

Please NOTE: The sizing in Allure Bridals runs small!! I wear an 8-10 in street clothes, and while this dress is a supposed to be a size 14, the other wedding dress I ended up buying was a bridal size 10! So while it is marked 14, I would really call it a bridal 10 or 12.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous, the train and low back are stunning and the lace detail/gold stitching are so pretty! It has just a tiny amount of shimmer and the off white color is lovely! I also love that the buttons go all the way down, so cute!

I was SO excited about this dress, however I did not lose as much weight as I thought I was going to be able to, and it was too tight when it came in. I did not feel comfortable or pretty in it because of that, but there is nothing wrong with the dress itself, unfortunately because of the lace we were not able to take the dress out, but it could be taken in. It was never worn outside of the store, but the alterations were started in case I wasn't able to find a different dress in time. It can absolutely still be altered without affecting the look and style of the dress.

This dress HAS been altered to fit me, I am 5'2" and curvy. The dress was hemmed but the original lace is not cut, so it can be put back to its original length. Also the sleeves have been altered but the material is all still there so it could be put back to the original or altered again. Also bra padding inserts have been stitched in, but can be easily removed.
