The Dress

Designer Prototype Wedding Dress. One off. Brand NEW – unworn. Spring/Summer 2017 size 8
Brand new – never worn, This dress is truly a bespoke, one off. It has never been put into production, this is because it was deemed too expensive to make. Nor has it ever been worn. You would truly be the only bride to EVER wear this dress. Although it has to be seen to be believed, please have a look through the pictures and note its exquisite and breath taking beauty.
The silhouette of this truly individual wedding dress is mermaid. The bodice is embellished with painstakingly hand sewn bead work in elaborate and intricate patterning. This bead work is a delightful and complementary mixture of Swarovski crystals, pearl and transparent beading. The back of the bodice has a boned effect of a corset, with classical glass effect buttoning as oppose to corsetry lacing. This part of the dress is transparent, yet the beaded patterning continues across it, which gives a truly individual and breath taking effect. The skirt of the dress is a tired ruffle effect, with a long train. Again, one can tell the amount of love and attention that has been poured into this dress through the design of this skirt, alternating layers give a multi tonal effect.
The two parts of this dress work together to create a dress, which as quoted by a colleague “Looks like it could be found on the cover of Vogue magazine”. While the hand stitched bead work at the top of the dress gives an extremely glamorous and timeless effect, the ruffled skirt of the dress gives a fun, flirty and fashionable edge, overall oozing a world of couture and high fashion. The sweetheart neckline, along with the boned waist and back, ensure this dress is extremely complementary to the shape of a woman.
As with all designer prototype dresses, the designer cannot be confirmed. However, through my own in depth research and through noting the amazingly detail bead work and beautiful placed ruffles, I have noted similarities to this seasons bridal collections of Kenneth Winston.
The only reason I am begrudgingly letting go of this absolutely stunning dress is because we have had a change of venue, due to circumstances beyond our control and this beautiful dress just isn’t suitable!
What more could a blushing bride want – a truly exquisite, classical, high fashion dress that will only be worn by you.
