The Dress

Forget plain white; this dress has a breathtaking iridescence achieved by delicately colored layers of tulle over a silky ivory base that make the gown appear to shift between pale gold, blue, cream and blush as you walk down the aisle. The embroidery keeps the dress interesting, but is not overwhelming in photos. I wore a simple sapphire pendant and matching drop earrings that set the whole thing off perfectly.

The dress is so well constructed that it practically stands up on its own. I had cups sewn in for comfort and support, but didn't need to add a corset or wear Spanx. It stayed up all night (no awkward "hoisting" in any of the photos) and looks absolutely stunning from any angle. In this dress, every side will be your good side.

Originally purchased from Kleinfeld, NY and all alterations were performed by them. The original manufactured size 4 was taken in very slightly in the bust, length trimmed for 5'3" bride wearing 3 inch heels. B-cups added so no bra is needed. Beautiful French bustle so you look as good at the reception as you did with the full train going down the aisle.
