The Dress

I am so sad to part with this dress. I absolutely loved wearing it on my wedding day. The beaded embroidery on the bodice forms a bouquet and is absolutely stunning. And, the train, although simple, is gorgeous. It adds so much to the elegance of the dress. I removed a lot of the tool under the gown in order to make it less "poofy," which added to the presentation as well. It also allowed it to breathe better and prevents from creating a heat dome down there. It also made it easier to maneuver around in. There is also already a bustle on the back that a seamstress can help you maneuver and figure out how to attach the train.

Although there is a small black mark at the bottom toward the hem on the right side, it is not noticeable through all of the folds in the dress. I have no idea how it got there, but it was in all of the pictures attached and was not even noticeable enough to photoshop out. You won't be able to see it while wearing. You would have to really unfold the folds of the dress and point it out to someone.

I only wore this dress for my bridal photos and the wedding day. It has been professionally cleaned and preserved and is ready to be worn another day!

I absolutely love this dress and think it would make someone else's special day even more special. It makes me sad to be in a box in a closet. So, my hope is that someone else will be able to enjoy it as much as I have.

Although it was a size 10 at the date of purchase, it was altered to about a size 4. But, keep in mind the nature of this gown. As it is flowy in the hip area, the size is very forgiving. So, if your sizes are a little bigger or smaller in the hip and waist area, it allows for a lot of grace in those areas. Also, a padded bra could help if your bust is smaller.
