The Dress:
Brand new, never worn. I bought the wrong size, which required too many alterations (unfortunately) to fit my shape. I bought another dress in the end, but was sad that this one wasn't my perfect dress, as it is absolutely beautiful.
The design entails a deep cowl back and the long train offers a graceful, yet dramatic finish. V neckline. Cap sleeves with a hidden back zip. Fully lined in charmeuse. Fabric: Mid-weight ivory crepe.
The Designer:
An exquisite Theia gown with simple, yet classic appeal. After apprenticing with a royal couturier in London and working alongside Christian Lacroix in Paris, designer Don O’Neill moved to NYC and serves as the creative director for Theia, an eveningwear line.
This Theia Gown is sold in the beautiful The Bridal Atelier in Armadale, Melbourne, but was bought through shopbop online (as it sells in retail for over $3,000 AUD.) This dress comes with tags on, in a suit bag & bridal box.
