The Dress

Custom-made Modern Trousseau purchased during a trunk show in CT with the designer present. The top is similar to "sky" or "Ada" styles, but the bottom is a simplified version of the rack dress I tried on. The bottom is sleek and plain to let the draping of the top stand out. Chapel-length train. Belt was purchased at the same trunk show but I am not sure what designer it is. Belt is not permanently attached to the dress so I am willing to sell them separately. I am unsure of the size of the dress, but I am 4'10", wore a size 32c bra, and was 120lbs at the time. It was worn once (very comfortable!) and it's in a professional dry cleaning box right now, but I will open it for a seriously interested buyer. See alteration notes below. Thanks for your interest!

Dress was altered to fit me: top was taken in a bit, bottom was shortened to fit me at 4'10" + the 4" heel I wore, so to a height of about 5'2". A single french bustle was added. The belt was custom fitted to my waist, and an invisible hook system was added for a seamless look (instead of a bow in the back) so now it is essentially one continuous circle of beading.
