The Dress

This dress was purchased from the Gwendolyn boutique in Fitzroy. It is their 'Belinda' style dress featured on their website.
The dress was made to measure over four fittings with one of the Gwendolyn dress makers. I am a size 6-8 AU with a small bust and so there are padded cup inserts sewn in that can be removed for ladies blessed with a larger bust than I.
The dress is a mixture of art Deco, vintage with a modern sexy twist. It has beautiful lace capped shoulders encrusted with beads, dangling pearls and crystals. It has a halter back with a beautiful Art Deco diamanté clip that clips up easily above two strands of silk with beading at the ends. My friends were able to help me into the dress very easily on the day. The beading on the shoulders is beautiful and adds such an antique beauty to the whole dress.
The dress is 100% premium silk and has a beautiful short train that can be clipped up into a gorgeous bustle for dancing.

This dress is in amazing used condition no visible issues or marks only very slightly scuffs on hemline but not visible when worn.
