The Dress

This beautiful wedding gown is reluctantly for sale. It was the elegant dress I wore at my wedding. The gown is a classic beauty designed by Rachel Gilbert who is described as having "acute awareness of what a modern brides needs is innately executed within her bridal collections. Elegantly tailored floor sweeping gowns create a timeless sophisticated elegance for the Rachel Gilbert bride". The description of the dress is: sleeveless embellished v neck, blouson gown with claw stone scatter.

It's ivory with two layers the bottom a classic white slip dress with a chiffon like top layer beautifully embellished with diamantes and white sequences. The sleeves at the shoulder have a diamante pattern which adds more depth to the gown with a flattering v front and back. Not only was it beautiful it was very comfortable and light weight to wear.

It's a size 2 in Rachel Gilbert's sizing. I am 164 cms tall and wore 5.5cm heels and usual dress size AU 10.

It has been professionally dry cleaned (a copy of the receipt can be provided upon request).

The dress had minor alterations including being taken up at the shoulders to rest flat against my back and the hem was altered so that the dress rested on the floor when in heels.
