The Dress

The bodice of this dress is made of lace with multiple lace flowers sewn over the top. It originally has a plunging neckline which was altered but could easily be unstitched if preferred. There is a satin ribbon separating the bodice from the skirt. The skirt is made of silk chiffon with three layers of tulle underneath. The dress comes standard with a tulle skirt however I prefer the silk chiffon look which was an extra cost. The back of this dress was the selling point for me. I loved the deep "V" in the back.

What I loved most about this dress, which I found surprising at the time, was the bodice shape. I am quite bony around the chest and shoulders but the V neckline suited my body perfectly. It wasn't until I tried this dress on (after many others, I assure you) that I realised this.

This dress is elegant, simple and timeless. I styled this dress with simple pearl drop earrings, a cathedral length one tiered veil (Note: The veil will be sold with the dress), and a fine diamond bracelet.

The side darts (beneath the bust) where altered and the plunging neckline was closed with extra lace flowers sewn over the top. The length was not altered and was the perfect length for me (I am 173 cm tall). There was an extra flower sewn on the back of the dress to cover the zipper.
