The Dress

I fell in love with the pattern on the lace overlay on my Nicola Anne dress when I first saw it! The underneath is a chiffon and the dress is very light and easy to wear with boning in the bodice. It is a very classic, A-line strapless dress with a cream/caramel silk band around the waist and a small train.

The dress was originally made with a sheer top, however I ask for the dress to be made with a strapless top instead. It is therefore a unique version of the "Renata" style dress. I also had some volume taken out of the skirt, the dress was shortened (I am 5"4' and wore the dress with kitten heels) and bra boosters were also put into the bodice.

The dress can be gathered at the back for the evening.

I was on cloud 9 wearing the dress on my wedding day. I would love the dress to go to someone who would love wearing her as much as I did. The dress does come with a broach which, if possible, I would like to keep for sentimental reasons. The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and it is stored in a special presentation box with a protective film.

Shortened, skirt slimmed down, bra boosters added to the bodice.
