The Dress

Details: Beautiful and unique Wendy Sullivan 2015 collection dress. This is a champagne colour (perfect name right?!) ball gown style dress with two layers of ivory tulle over the top. The bodice includes an intricate lace and beading pattern and a corset back so that you don't have to stay exactly the same shape. Size 16 on the tag, although I normally wear a size 12 -14, and it is more flexible due to the corset aspect.

Alterations: I had spaghetti straps added onto the dress that are overlaid with the same motifs as the bodice to make it one of a kind. These straps can be easily removed too if desired. It also has three loops so that you can bustle the train after the ceremony.

Has been professionally dry cleaned by hand and even comes with 50% discount for Syndal's bridal dry cleaners!

Bonus: Includes veil, anti-static spray, and hoop so that you can walk and dance easily (seriously, the lady who did the alterations recommended this, rather than at the shop where I bought it and it makes it so much easier!).

Testimony: This is the most beautiful dress! I mean, look at that bodice! DAMN! Everyone loves it, even the lady who did the alterations who was kind of annoyed that we didn't buy one of her dresses! Selling it mainly because I don't want it to sit around in my closet until husband number 2. My maid of honour loved it so much she wanted it for her wedding but, considering she doesn't even have a boyfriend yet, I can't imagine having a wedding dress in your closet 'just in case' would help with this.

How much money: Dress was $2750 alone, motifs for straps $500, adding loops and straps $400, hoop $250, and veil $150. Selling for $500 as it feels a shame to just have it sitting around in a closet. Only issue is some pulls in the very bottom of the tulle, may not be a problem at all if you are shorter than 170cms.
