Silk ivory wedding gown with goddess draping, bodice and waistline delicately beaded with Swarovski crystals.
I bought this from a lady on this website 3 months ago but as I had an emergency c section the size was no longer attainable post baby and so it was unused. I bought it at £1500 and paid for it to be in the deodorising chamber at Johnsons however am selling at a lower rate. Please find her original description below:
"This is an incredibly flattering and comfortable dress. I wanted to find a dress that I would be at ease in for the whole of the big day, that was easy to move (and dance in) and that I wouldn't have to think about from the moment I put it on. This was the perfect dress! It’s incredibly lightweight and flattering in all the right places.
I’m 5”3 and wore 3 inch heels on the day but the train is quite long. It has an inner corset, including a built in bra, that was made to measure for my bust (32DD), but can be altered. The original size of the dress was 12 but was fitted to size 10 measurements by the time of my wedding.
There is an A-line split at the front, which gives the dress an elegant Grecian look and feel. There is a bustle ribbon at the base of the back so that the train can be tied up for dancing. Alternatively, there is a loop at the base of the train that can be comfortably worn over the wrist.
The dress has been hanging in a protective plastic sleeve within its original linen hanging bag since it was dry cleaned by Jeeves Dry Cleaners, a company that Amanda Wakeley recommended. There is a very faint amount of discolouration (from mud) on the base of the dress, which dry cleaning could not completely remove but this is not visible when the dress is worn."
