The Dress

I bought the dress new from David's Bridal in March 2016. The dress has only been worn once on my wedding day in October. It was kept in the dress bag, in a smoke/pet free home until a week before when I had it steamed. I had it cleaned a week later at H&R cleaners in Grand Forks, ND and it has been back in it's dress bag, in a spare closet, since then.

The dress is off white/ivory, tea length and oh so pretty! :) There are little opaque sequins that give just the right amount of a soft shimmer with pearls and lace that start on the neckline and flow down the dress like a cascade. One of my favorite features is the row of buttons that goes down the back of the dress (they conceal a zipper though, no worries!) There is some light boning in the bodice of the dress to help you have a great shape for your special day. As a plus-size bride, I understand how hard it can be to find a dress that helps you flatter your curves instead of hiding them or looking even more bulky. This dress does an amazing job of flattering your shape with it's a-line design and just enough fluffy tulle. I hope this dress brings you as much joy as it brought me. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day!
