Bernadette Pimenta Couture, Size 10 Wedding Dress

The Story:

This is a custom designed Bernadette Pimenta dress, which was designed with inspiration from J'Aton Couture gowns.

This gorgeous dress is one of a kind, has been dry cleaned by Syndals Dry Cleaners and has no damage.

Top half of the dress:

Nude silk underlay and the top layer is ivory lace. The back of the dress has a zip and buttons and goes into a V shape. The inside of the dress has a built-in bra and thick elastic strap that does up at the back underneath the zip; it is not visible.

The corset has boning but is quite flexible (I was able to sit down in my dress very comfortably). The lace blends in to the skirt so it does not look disjointed but has a flow on affect.

Bottom half of the dress:

Various layers of ivory silk organza covering nude silk lining. Some of the layers have a raw edge on the train however the majority are doubled over, completing the couture look.

The skirt has a train which can be picked up & fixed to a button (as a bustle) or can be held by hand with a finger loop-hole.

This gorgeous gown was worn in September 2016. I am sad to part with it however it deserves to be worn again on someone else's special day as it is so beautiful!

I am a size 10 and 174cm tall. I wore 3.5cm ivory silk heels on the day of my wedding, which are extremely low for most brides, so you could easily be much shorter than me and wear high heels which would make the dress the perfect length on you! I am also happy to part with the shoes as part of the sale if they fit you as they were designed to match the gown on shoes of prey. The shoes are a size 39 (8.5).

Measurements of the dress are:

Bust - 88-89cm (c-cup) Waist - 71-72cm Hips - 98-99cm

You can easily have the corset adjusted by a dressmaker if you need it taken in/out slightly.

As I mentioned I have had the dress professionally dry-cleaned by Syndals Dry Cleaners and I also purchased a custom made preservation bag to ensure that the dress stays in mint condition while you wait for your big day. I have a certificate of proof for the dry-clean and preserving to handover when you collect your beautiful gown. I will also give you a 50% off Syndals dry cleaning voucher that you can use after your big day so you can either keep the dress for yourself or sell again.
