The Dress
This is a bespoke, classic, 1950s-style full length ballgown wedding dress in James Silk ivory duchesse silk. It was custom made for me by a very talented dressmaker in Twickenham. It features delicate beading around the neckline and slightly dropped waist, and also has a lovely detachable bow on the back which is also beaded. It is an understated, elegant, beautiful gown. I wear size 12 in my day-to-day clothes and this would be ideal for someone of around 5'7" (though of course, it could be shortened.)
It has a fairly substantial train.
It was dry cleaned after the wedding so it really is as good as new.
