The Dress

I had this dress custom made for our casual backyard wedding in November 2016. This dress suited the laid back theme so well, I was extremely comfortable and hardly thought about my dress all night.

The back and sides of the top are sheer lace. I did not wear a bra on the day, just cups. But don't worry, there is extra lace positioned over the bust!

I had no fears of tripping down the aisle as the front of the dress scoops up and it is very easy to walk in. There is a longer train at the back with beautiful scalloped edging on the lace. There is a loop at the end of the train, that goes over your hand, so you can hold the train off the ground later at night.

I am a size 10-12 and am larger on the bottom than on the top. This fit was perfect for me as it accentuated my bust and waist but hid my bottom half.

I have had it dry cleaned at Leon's in Brisbane.

The dress got snagged on the night, creating a 1 inch long slice in the lace, near the centre back bottom of the train. It is hardly noticeable and hasn't lost any fabric so I think it should be able to be stitched closed.
