The Dress

I'm selling my beloved Pronovias Barbate dress from the Spring 2012 Pronovias Glamour Collection. This dress, made in Barcelona, is a gorgeous A-line/ball gown made from layers and layers of featherweight soft tulle. According to the sales lady they have used 25m tulle per layer. The highlight of the dress are the feathers along the bust and neckline. I felt like a combination princess/ballerina and immediately fell in love with it.

The dress had a cathedral trail which glided easily along the floor. I had a bustle added, so after the wedding you can pin the trail up. I'm 5'9" and wore this dress with 21/2 inch heels, so there is an excellent to have the dress short for smaller brides. The dress is so lovely, it did not require any additional embellishment. In fact, I bought a crystal/beaded belt on a white ribbon to wear with it for the reception, but forgot and never put it on. (Please let me know if you are interested in pictures!) I wore only drop earring to focus full attention to the beauty of the dress and the feathers. The guests were amazed by the dress. Even the photographers who are shooting several weddings a week told me it is their absolute favorite dress. In my opinion it is feminine, young, delicate, elegant. I've never seen another dress like it, yet it is still classic. I only wore the dress for 5hrs (ceremony, photos, reception) on a lovely clear day, so it didn't have to withstand any weather, mud or crazy partying. I hope you will love the dress as much as I do!
