The Dress

This was the dress I wore for our wedding on September 18th, 2016 on the Newport, RI coastline. It is a beautiful Pronovias Prusia dress that truly makes a statement! I am a former Miss USA state titleholder and wanted a dress that was wedding appropriate but also included a bit of fashion and something unique. I am 5'11'', I wore 2'' heels and it was still long enough. Therefore, it has room to be taken up if needed. I loved how stunning this dress was, I felt like a queen wearing it and it was so easy to dance in all night! My seamstress tailored it to bring the tulle material up from the floor, in order to button underneath the gown. This made it easier to dance after the ceremony and easy to button. Overall, the dress is very light and makes quite the dramatic statement. I purchased this directly from the Pronovias store in NYC in June of 2016, in person. I paid $2800. It was a beautiful experience and would love to see another bride wear it. Here is the description from the manufacturer's site: Tulle, mermaid dress with lace, guipure and gemstone embroidered appliqués. Bodice with sweetheart neckline and straps and neckline decorated with gemstones front and back. Frilled tulle skirt finished with lace.
