The Dress

This dress is truly lovely. It is lace and applique over matt side satin. The applique is very delicate with some diamonte details to highlight only. It has that delicate floaty look. The back is lovely with button fasten details.
The colour is:
Ivory Lace over Cafe Matte-Side Lustre Satin with Porcelain Tulle Illusion and Natural Grosgrain Sash.
The cap sleeves are gorgeous and very delicate.
The sweetheart necklane makes your boobs look great!
I wanted to get a second hand wedding dress or a shop sample - but I couldn't find an essensce of australia dress in my size!
Also going is the little belt I bought with this dress (shown in the picture with the dress in the box). The dress has been professionally cleaned and boxed with acid free paper - the box also comes with the dress.

I wouldn't want to let this go for less than the listed price. I spent £300 on last minute alterations (I took delivery of this dress in June and was married in July this year!), and £150 on the cleaning an storage box. I think usual (ie not rushed) alterations would cost about £150.

I lost some weight and so it had to get taken in at the bust (or course!! not the waist!!) by 2 inches.
The hook part of the hook and eye came off which is just above the zip at the back.
I wore 1.5 inch heels and I am 5ft 6 inches tall - the front hem was taken up accordingly, with the train left in tact. The hem is detatchable where all the broacade detail is located. This makes alterations straight forward.
No material was removed during the alterations so it should be easy to take the bust back out again.
The seamstress who did my alterations said that the dress could go down another couple of sizes.
I had a bustle tie added too as the train is quite long.
