The Dress

The strapless bodice has a draped overlay of french lace, delicately beaded with tiny Swarovski crystals and sequins. The skirt has a beaded lace overlay with godet inserts and leads into a 'sweep train', which can be beautifully bustled up to shorten the train.

I paid extra for the Ian Stuart custom made option as I am 5'10" and wanted the dress to fit perfectly, so there's plenty of material to play with if you need to adjust it. The label in the dress states 29.5 for this reason and I was between a U.K. size 10 - 12 at the time and wore a 3 inch heel with the dress.

It has been professionally dry cleaned and is in perfect condition as far as I can tell, complete with matching lace shawl.

I have to say (and I know I would!) it really is an absolutely stunning dress, I felt amazing in it, didn't take it off all day long, I just loved swishing about in it and yes, it was very comfortable! Hence, I haven't wanted to part with it, but I've finally convinced myself that it's too pretty not to go out and be shown off by someone new!
