The Dress

This dress is absolutely perfect and so flattering. I loved wearing it so much and it looks so beautiful in the photos. I wore it to my wedding in September 2016 and it has been sitting in a garment bag since.

It is the Sottero & Midgley "Wyatt" design, which I believe is inspired by similar designs by Berta. The underlayer is a stretch satin which is champagne in colour. The lace overlay is ivory. This is why the dress looks slightly different in colour depending on the lighting in which the photos have been taken.

I am 170cm tall and I wore 10cm Valentino Rockstud heels with my dress. My waist measurement is 66cm, my hip measurement is 89cm and my bust measurement is 82cm.

I am a size 6-8.

The length of the dress from my waist to the end of the train is 1.90m. I did not alter the length of the dress.

Veil is not included.

NOTES

After I received it from Abbey Bridal in Sydney in August 2016, I had it altered from the "off the rack size" to fit me perfectly and to flare out more tightly from the knees and also so that the tail would flare out from under my bum. Cups were also inserted into the bust area. The alterations were completed by a tailor recommended by Abbey Bridal.

The dress has not been dry cleaned so there are some minor stains on the bottom. These stains are on the inside of the satin lining only (ie the bit that faces the floor) and not on the lace.

There is a tiny hole in the mesh on the back. It's very difficult to notice.

In a couple of places around the waistline the beading has come loose. This should be an easy fix for a dressmaker/tailor.
