The Dress

This is the most beautiful vintage gown in taffeta cangiante and beaded French lace. The fitted bodice has an extremely flattering sweetheart neckline and lace-covered shoulder straps. The gown is covered throughout with the finest French lace, embellished with sequins and beads. The mermaid skirt and train have godet panels, creating a beautiful swirling effect when you walk.

If you purchased this dress from a wedding boutique it would be £1,900.

The reason I have a brand new designer gown is because my original gown which I wore on my Wedding Day and felt a million dollars in was shrunk at the dry cleaners. I then went into battle with the dry cleaners who battled with Ian Stuart and to cut a long story short the compromise was to make me a new dress. So I now have the one I wore on the day to treasure (albeit with a shrunk underskirt) and a brand new one to sell.

I was actually a size 8-10 when I got married and my dress I wore was altered and looked amazing, so don't be put off if you are smaller, just get a damn good seamstress.
