The Dress

Maggie Sottero Jaclyn dress in ivory lace. The lace overskirt was used to create an integrated 'jacket' which has additional toile and beautiful buttons (with elastic hooks so easier fasten) down the back. A Jesus Peiro full length skirt in ivory satinised silk organza was added.

This is a very traditional looking dress and very flattering.

All alterations were carried out by a professional seamstress who used to work for one of the main bridal houses and the sleeves were added in a way that means that you can still dance!

I am 5'8" and wore small heels with it.

The dress has been dry cleaned by a London costume house and has been beautifully packaged.

The dress may seem pricey for a second hand piece, but the alterations that were made were very costly and it should mean that you really wouldn't have to do much at all to it, so will save you money there.

The dress was purchased new and I'd really love it to be worn by someone else who could get as much pleasure out of wearing it as I did, it seems too sad to consign it to the attic forevermore!
