The Dress

This is a bespoke Galia Lahav Haute Couture ‘Loretta’ dress purchased from the prestigious Browns Bride boutique in Mayfair, London.

Galia Lahav / Sharon Sever personally measured me and made this bespoke dress for my wedding in 2016.

The dress has a body exuding bodice, with an extravagant cascading blush tulle skirt and train. The dress is a combination of ivory and blush.

The bodice of the dress is made of french crochet ivory lace, decorated with an embroidered antique lace. The gown is embellished with pearls and Swarovski crystals. The back is low and has a sheer illusion tulle for support. The dress is very easy to move around in and the tulle is extremely light weight.

The bust has Galia Lahav double layered padding inside the cups for lift and volume (my bust size is 32B), these can easily be removed by a seamstress if desired. I can refer you to the original seamstress who completed my final fittings if needed, the seamstress knows the designer and design of the dress very well and will be able to help with any further alterations should you require.

Measurements: I am a UK high street size 6-8, exact measurements can be given on enquiry. I am 5’ 3’ and wore a 4 inch sandal/heel with the dress.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned by a specialist in Chelsea, London. The dress has been kept in the original Galia Lahav garment bag, which has then been stored inside a Browns Bride waterproof garment bag for additional protection. The dress is accompanied by the original Galia Lahav garment labels and clothes hanger and has been boxed up in a gorgeous bridal keepsake box.

Galia Lahav Veil: This sale can be accompanied by the Galia Lahav veil which was a bespoke order, chosen and made by the designer to match this dress. The ivory lace veil, with comb securing for hair, is in pristine condition and has never been worn as I decided to use an alternative design for my wedding day. Browns Bride Boutique London, Bespoke Veil. This is the veil I am pictured wearing on my wedding day and is a bespoke ivory veil with comb securing for hair, made by Browns Bridal to complement the dress.
