The Dress

Gorgeous 2006 Roz La Kelin dress in excellent condition. It is 10 years old but pristine! I wanted to keep it but really cant justify it any longer. I can't remember what the style was but the word 'gardenia' rings a bell.

I purchased for approx $2900 AUD brand new from a bridal store in Canberra in 2006 and it has only been worn for my wedding day in December 2006. It was dry cleaned and boxed up professionally within a week of the wedding, which is why it is immaculate now.

I am 170 cm tall and wore 4 cm heels on the day. At the time I was 67 kg and a size 10 on top and 12-14 on the bottom, so quite out of proportion and 'hippy'. As you can see the style totally hides this well! I had the dress made specifically with a sweetheart neckline and zip back with Swarovski button overlaid (the original design had a tie back). I have tried on now and it doesn't quite do up but I have figured the general measurements out to be;

Bust 82cm with internal cups and no bra required. At the time (pre twins;) I was a 10B but there was quite a bit of bust space still in the cups. I am now a D and they fit fine in the cup.
Waist 68cm
Front centre to hem 142cm
Back centre to hem 195 cm with an under bustle option via a ribbon tie.

It is a white satin with a moulded appliqué overlay of Swarovski beaded lace. It has a double layer of netting under it, however, I do have a hoop on in the pics also. The hanging pics were taken today and it is not pressed.

The veil was also purchased from the same store for $450AUD. I will add this for $50 if interested. It measures 280cm long x 170cm wide with a 68cm second layer. It is edged in Swarovski with two sections of 6 and 8 cm respectively missing from the bottom where I stood on it. The fabric is in pristine condition so you could easily re-stitch on some beads (I do not have any spares sorry).
