The Dress

This Lusan Mandongus wedding dress is a 2011 style, which the designer fittingly named "Romance". It features a stunning beaded lace bodice, which is boned to provide a perfect fit. The bodice skims the hips and flows into a truly luxurious tulle skirt with a dreamy flowing train, which is appliquéd with small lace details. A ribbon is fitted to the waist and tied in a small neat bow to the front, accentuating the waist. The dress fastens with a discrete covered zip at the rear. I had tiny transparent clips fitted to the skirt, so that the train can be beautifully pinned up for dancing or if you prefer to have a shorter train.

The dress was cared for lovingly on our wedding day (i.e. not trashed!) and dry cleaned immediately afterwards.

I fell head over heals for this dress and blew my budget! Five years on (and still happily married), it's time to give this dress another day out. It deserves to be seen and adored again :)

I'm about 165cm / 5' 4" tall and wore heals of about 2.5-3" on the day. The dress was altered to fit accordingly.
