The Dress

This is a custom-made Suzanne Harward dress from the Golden Era Capsule Collection. What drew me to this dress was the fabric - it is made of a stunning textured Italian silk with a beautiful, subtle pattern through the fabric. I had tried on many many dresses while on the hunt for my wedding dress, and I hadn't seen a gown like this one anywhere. The fabric really was the main feature of the dress, so different to anything else I had seen. The neckline was simple and timeless yet modern. I also absolutely loved the sharp, clean lines of the dress, from the neckline to the gorgeous back to the seams that run down the front of the dress, elongating your frame.

I had soft cups sewn into the dress meaning it was so comfortable and no bra was needed. These could easily be removed or altered for a difference size.

I am 5' 10 and wore 6cm heels on my wedding day, but this dress could easily be taken up if required. It has a wrist strap and it also bustles up beautifully so you can dance the night away.

It has been professionally dry cleaned by Syndals Dry Cleaning in Armadale, I can provide the certificate for this.

I still absolutely adore this dress but think it's such a shame for it to just hang in my closet after only one wear. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to see more photos.
