The Dress

The Vera Wang Katherine wedding dress is a modern, contemporary ball gown with classic and sensual touches. Between the layers of tulle and organza, the dress moves and creates shadows and tones through the waves of fabric and hand rolled organza features.

I initially wanted to wear a mermaid style wedding dress but at my second appointment my family encouraged me to try on the Katherine gown. It looked lovely on the hanger but once I tried it on I fell in love! I adore its opulence and dramatic quality. Indeed, the dress is a piece of art and begs for simple yet elegant accessories, hence I wore nude Christian Louboutin sling backs and Swarovski crystal drop earrings.

In addition to purchasing the gown, you will also receive the Vera Wang hanger, Vera Wang branded dress cover, Vera Wang veil and bra cups (if required). The wedding gown and veil have been professionally dry cleaned and are currently hanging (not boxed).

To this date, I am still in love with the Vera Wang Katherine wedding dress and even though it is hard to part from it I would love to share this dress with a bride-to-be that appreciates the detail, work and beauty this wedding dress has.

The Vera Wang Katherine wedding dress was altered slightly with a few millimeters taken in around the bust and 2-3 centimeters on the length.

Due to the delicate nature and structural elements of the dress, this wedding dress cannot be folded or boxed. As a result, shipment/postage outside of Australia is not possible.
