The Dress

This gown is from the latest Rue De Seine 'Nomadic Love' collection, made in New Zealand.

It is a bohemian inspired gown with plunging halter neckline, open back and cross tie details. The dress has a defined waist, folding gathers, full hemline and large godet train. The embroidered cotton silk fabric is just stunning and perfect for a natural wedding. The detail of the dress is truly unique and beautiful.

I wore this dress to my wedding in June 2016 and just loved it. It was very comfortable to wear for the whole day and night and really suited my boho themed wedding. I accessorised the dress with a bohemian headdress and feather bracelet which isn't part of the sale.

The dress is UK size 12 but was altered to almost a UK size 10 at the waist and It was also taken up from the waist (I’m 5’7 in height). I had a bra sown into the dress (34 DD) for extra support which can be replaced or removed by a seamstress if needed. I also had some additional bustle loops put in to make it easy to hold the train up for the night. Also part of the alterations, I had the thin string which crosses over on the back and around the halterneck (shown on model picture) with white ribbon to prevent the string from digging into my skin which also gave additional support and comfort.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned, in excellent condition and is kept in the gown bag.
