The Dress

Selling my Jenny Packham 'Tilly' wedding dress. I bought this new from a registered bridal shop stockist in 2014 to wear for my wedding in April 2016. It was my dream dress and on the day I got so many comments about how Downton Abbey/vintage/ethereal it was, with its wonderfully delicate beaded cap sleeves/cape and soft chiffon silk fabric. It flowed so beautifully and was really comfortable as well as looking elegant. I could not have wished for a more beautiful dress to wear for my wedding day.
I am selling it as I hope someone else can have the same feeling wearing it as I did, and it would be a shame for it to never see the light of day again.
The original Jenny Packham tag says the dress is a size 12, which for me was pretty accurate. I am usually a size 10-12 in everyday clothing. I am 5ft10 and wore a small heel on the day. I also have the J.P dress bag. From a smoke-free home.

The dress cost £2880 new, and I am selling it for £950. (open to sensible offers). I live near Trowbridge in Wiltshire, but travel down to the Bournemouth/New Forest area as that is where I hail from.

I had 6 ties put underneath to lift the train for the evening's dancing (photo 4 shows these in action).
I had the dress professionally cleaned.
If I look really closely at the cape/sleeve I can see a couple of loose beads but these are barely noticeable unless you stare finely at it!
At the bottom back of the dress there are 3 very small holes which are pictured. Again these are barely noticeable and do not detract in any way from the dress when it is on. (see photo 8- bear in mind this is zoomed in!)
