Ivory Chantilly lace gown, accented with corded lace appliques and sequin floral appliques on soft tulle. Zip fastening at back with buttons covering.

Brought from new. Worn once for my wedding in April and I felt a million dollars in it, such a classic and timeless dress.

US size 8 / UK size 10 - I had it taken in at the waist a little and shortened. I am 5ft 8.5 inches tall with the heels I wore on the day. I also had a bustle added and had the neckline and arm seams lined on the inside with a satin material so that the lace/tulle didn’t itch or scratch me. I wore it from midday to midnight and it didn’t feel uncomfortable or irritate me once.

I’ve had the dress professionally cleaned. The bottom has some very small areas of discoloration from being on the floor when worn but if you are shorter than me that would be removed when it is taken up or, another clean would probably get it out. There is a very small area on the netting at the bottom that has snagged a bit, this isn’t very noticeable and again, if the dress was to be taken up this would be removed.

I did buy a low back strapless bra to wear underneath but with the built in corset/support I decided I didn’t need anything in the end, the dress held me perfectly.

I really will be sad to see this go but I would love someone else to get as much pleasure as I did from this perfect dress.
