The Dress

I loved wearing this Paloma Blanca dress (Amber) at my winter wedding in January (on the beach in Scotland nonetheless!) I didn't know what style of dress I was looking for when I started shopping. All I knew was I thought I wanted to have an open back and something in lace. This was one of the first dresses I tried on! I bought it at Mirror Mirror boutique in London as part of their sample sale. I enjoyed the process of fittings and the final dress felt wonderful to wear.
It is described as a 'blush' colour and indeed has a very subtle, soft hue of rose about it. It was fitted for me at size 10 with a 32DD bra size. The lace is exquisite with a wide spaced floral design. it has a train and a bustle for dancing. The keyhole back is its particular feature, which buttons beautifully at the back of the neck with lace covered buttons. The silk ribbon belt can easily be replaced with something different - like something beaded or with crystals. It has a slight vintage feel to it and it looked beautiful with many of the feather and fur stoles i tried on with it, as well as with the side tiara I picked to wear.
It is lined with full net petticoat and cotton and polyester- the skirt sits, moves and flows beautifully. It has an inner belt for securing around the waist as well as a little tab for slipping into your bra to keep the bodice in place.
it has been professionally dry cleaned and boxed and is in pristine condition. I am 5ft 5" and wore it with a 2.5 inch heel.
