The Dress

A truly beautiful dress that is elegant with a traditional feel. It is a well-made and strong garment despite the fragile appearance, with full lining throughout and a structured bodice. It is an all over Alencon lace circular cut ball gown and features a bateau neckline with cap sleeves. A regal satin double bow around the waist creates a nice contrast and accentuates a small waist. Satin buttons run the full length of the back until the edge of the train, creating a really beautiful feature. There are reinforced buttons to shorten the train for evening dancing convenience. There is also a ribbon sewn into the petticoat to help tie up the train (the ribbon is blue!).
I felt a million dollars and hope this dress can bring somebody else the same joy. As well as looking exquisite it is a very comfortable dress and I had no problem kneeling at the altar, eating a 3 course meal or dancing the night away!
One note on size, I would say that I am a large 10, depending on the brand I either wear a 10 or a 12. The dress fitted well but would be too tight for anybody larger, however would fit somebody smaller than myself quite comfortably.
The only alteration is to the length. I am 5 ft 8 and wore mid hight heels (~2 inch heels) and it swung perfectly.
