I wore this stunning Suzanne Neville “Forever” dress from her 2012 collection, last November 2015 – silk georgette in ivory. Designed with a structured corset bodice which carries ruching over a beautifully drapery skirt. The back has covered buttons with hand-made rouleau loops adding to its elegance with a small train. I wore this with a beautiful pear shaped diamond and peal broach attached to the bow at the side which added a touch of sparkle and matched my headpiece.
Although bought as a size 12 (it is more like a size 8/10) it has been altered professionally by a Suzanne Neville/Saville Row seamstress. The top of the dress has also been altered removing the original see-through silk georgette making it a strapless dress. The buttons were moved in but can easily be reversed and the hem was taken up by about 2-3inches.
The dress has been professionally cleaned and comes in a beautiful handmade box with acetate paper for protection (costing £110) However, l also have a full-length dress cover both of which are included. There are a couple of marks on the dress which are hardly noticeable and l could not get to show up on photos.
