The Dress

This is such a Beautiful dress. And it comes with a delicate, handmade lace bolero. The bodice is magnificent with the beautiful hand sewn tiny beads as you can see from the picture. It is quite exquisite and unusual in a sophisticated way. It allows the rest of the dress to be so simple, yet have a beautiful train at the back.
The dress sits close to the waist and hips.

The lace was ordered especially from Italy to make the bolero. The bolero is versatile in that you could use in the day and then take it off for the dinner or evening reception. I wore it in the day and took it off for before the first dance. It has hand embroided tiny glass beads along the edge to match the dress bodice, with a beautiful opening at the back, this shows off a little skin at the back. It tucks nicely into the dress, so looks part of the dress when you are wearing it.

The dress has a tie inside, so that the train can be shortened in the evening for dancing and ease of moving around. This looks very attractive.

Very good condition. Has been dry cleaned shortly after the wedding and stored carefully. The dress will come in the original packing from Fiorisimo (padded hanger & bag/suit carrier type bag)

The front of the dress was just above floor length on me (I'm 5ft 6 and wore 1 inch heels) and as i walked, you could see the peep of my shoes underneath.

The veil is also included if you wish. It works so beautifully with the dress as you can see from the photo going into the church. However this is just optional. The dress would work well with or without a veil.

The dress was altered from original size 12, to approx size 10, at the same shop in Richmond, Surrey where i purchased the dress from. The sizes of the dress now are:
Bust 31 inch
Waist 30 inch
Hips 38 inch

I am a size 10. 5ft 6 inch. I wore about 1 inch heels on the day.
