The Dress

This beautiful designer dress, called the Rhian Dress, was part of Rue de Seine’s 2015 Bridal Collection ‘Young Love’.

Details about the dress:

- Hand embroidered Silk Georgette
- Corseted bodice with bead and floral detail and finished with a hand crocheted hem
- Peplum detail at waist
- French Lace capped sleeve
- Sweetheart neckline
- Gathered Silk mesh skirt
- Full length with a train
- Silk Satin lining

I purchased the dress from Rue de Seine in Newmarket and it was made for my size (8). I had it professionally altered by Megs Tailoring to include inbuilt cups and a bustle at the back of the dress (allows the train to be buttoned up when walking or dancing).

This dress felt amazing to wear; beautiful, flowing, comfortable and light. I received so many compliments on it; it really is a stand out dress. Worn only for my wedding in February 2016, and dry cleaned straight after in Regal Drycleaners ‘Couture Service’. It is in perfect condition with the original RDS travel bag. I would love to keep it, but a dress this beautiful shouldn’t be hidden away in a closet; the lucky buyer will certainly be one beautiful bride!

Bust = 85 cm

Under bust = 71cm

Waist (smallest part) = 65cm

Hip 1 (top of your underwear line) = 82cm

Hip 2 (fullest part / center of your bum) = 94cm

Hem (waist to floor) = 106cm - 110cm approx

My height is 163 cm and my heel height was 6.5cm, the dress fell to the floor and covered my shoes.
