The Dress

This dress is stunningly elegant, glamorous, feminine and I felt like a film star wearing it. Every bride thinks her dress is the most beautiful dress they have ever seen or worn and I'm no exception. The Nerissa dress made me feel sophisticated and sexy on one of the most wonderful days of my life. I wanted a dress that wasn't stereotypical and spoke to my personality - Jenny Packham had the dress for me and with its art deco hints it fell like a dream! The beading details and embellishment on this dress is outstanding and makes the dress. I felt incredibly comfortable all day, not worried at all about 'slipping out' due to the deep v as it is so well crafted. It felt flowing and light and I danced the night away in it - never wanting to take it off! Alas, I did take it off and have had it cleaned, it is in fantastic condition. It's such a beautiful dress looking for a home - I hope it makes another bride as happy as it made me.

The dress is a size 10 but could be worn by a bride who is size 8 - 10. It is fully beaded chiffon over two layers of silk linings. I am a cup size C but I would suggest that cup size A-C could wear this dress well (body tape could come in handy). This dress really does have WOW factor and I felt a million dollars wearing it!

The dress was altered slightly around the shoulders and under my arms. I can recommend a fantastic seamstress if you require one - she did such a fantastic job on my alterations which is important given the amount of beading on this dress.

Around the bottom of the hem at the back of the dress there are a few loose threads where beading came away but I can provide you with a bag of beads to correct this. It wouldn't be a big job and work required on the dress is minimal.
