The Dress

The Dress Story,

So this dress has a bit of a unique story. I was on holiday in Barcelona, Spain, home of Pronovias, saw the dress, fell in love and had to bring it back with me. I had the fittings done there with the Spanish Pronovias team, we communicated with hand gestures and a few words of Spanish and English. We got there in the end.

It is not a small dress, the outter most layer is lace and tulle, then a satin underskirt and innermost a small petticoat like layer (no wires/rings) to give the skirt volume. I had the neckline altered to be a bit softer than a traditional V-neck. This dress is most gorgeous from the back, it has a chapel (mid sized) train which you can have altered shorter if you prefer, the back is sheer with some lace detailing. Personally I'm not a fan of glitter, beads, diamantes etc this dress doesn't have any of that. (See close up pic).

I had the dress altered and will fit a size 6-8. I am around 165cm in the photos with my heels on (I am 158cm wearing 10cm heels) there was still some extra tulle at the front for me so the dress can take on someone that was 3-5 cm taller.

The dress has been dry cleaned professionally already and is stored ready to make someone else's big day special.
