The Dress

My gorgeous Maggie Sottero wedding dress was purchased from Abbey Bridal Sydney, for my wedding in April 2014.

It is a Nadia dress (style no 12403) in ivory, size 7, with the original ivory sash (featuring a bow), and two lace up ribbons (so you can choose your preferred thickness) for the corset back closure. The dress has been dry cleaned and boxed.

Alterations: the train was removed so the hemline was completely even around (I had a country wedding and didn't want the train dragging in the dirt), and the neckline was changed from a strapless scoop to strapless sweetheart. I do still have the fabric that was removed by alterations, in case you wanted to use it elsewhere, or reattach the train.

Note: during the drycleaning process the drycleaner advised that there were some small tears in the tulle along the hemline of the dress. It was worn at a country wedding outdoors, and I do remember a bit of wire pulling the tulle at one point. But it's all boxed so I haven't seen the damage myself.

Aside from the dress and two lacing ribbons that were purchased with the dress this price includes:
• Carolina beaded sash in ivory (purchased for $349.90; discontinued from 1 March 2016). I've tried to include a couple of photos of the sash from the wedding as it was also dry cleaned and is boxed currently

The dress, Carolina sash, lacing ribbon and petticoat were dry cleaned by Bridal Silver Service, Sydney in May 2014, and have been boxed ever since (and still is in the box which is wrapped in the original Abbey Bridal wedding gown bag). The original bow sash and spare lacing ribbon have been stored in their original box, along with lacing instructions.

Alterations

The train was removed but I still have the fabric. And a sweetheart neckline was added.
