The Dress

Part of the Secret Garden 2014 collection, Clementine was the romantic, light-weight, flowing dress I'd been looking for. I loved all the Naomi Neoh dresses, but for me this was the one due to its elegant simplicity, emphasis on the waist, v-neck back and beautiful A-line flowing layers. I had the dress adjusted so it's an 8/10 on top and can fit 10-14 on bottom (as is A-line out from waist). Key thing is petite measurement on top - 29 inch around ribs and 34 inch around chest. I'm 5 foot 8 inches and wore 1 inch shoes.

Clementine is made of ivory silk chiffon, making it feel amazing, with stunning delicate lace appliqué detailing around the breast and waist. It flows from a laced bodice waist down to the floor ending in a mid-size train. So many people commented it was the most beautiful, natural wedding dress they'd seen with a timeless elegance to it (to me guinevere style). Absolutely perfect for pear shapes as makes your top look tiny and flows over hips! Lots of layers to give the skirt body, with a hint of blush to avoid a washed out stark white look and add warmth. The lightest dress I tried on, which for me was a top priority to be able to dance all night and not feel too hot.

It hurts to give it away as I love it so much, but I really want someone else to benefit from this beautiful dress who otherwise couldn't afford the designer.

The retail price was £2,900. I bought it in a sample sale (perfect condition) for £1,600 and am selling it for £800. Well under value, but as said, want someone else to be blessed with it and enjoy it, rather than it hiding in a cupboard. It comes with the silk rose corsage, but not the veil you'll see me wearing in the pictures which I bought extra. It's been specialist dry cleaned and steamed after the wedding (obviously only worn for 1 day last June!). It's in great condition, apart from small tear on one layer at back of train. Could be fixed or trimmed. Could also add small button under train to lift for first dance (super light and flowing to dance in). Happy to send more photos if interested.
